Breanna Hendricks is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Iowa. She graduated in 2015 from the University of Northern Iowa with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Breanna is a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors and the Iowa Mental Health Counselors Association. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults aged 10-65. Her theoretical approach stems from cultural-relational therapy which asserts our relationships and connections are the biggest influencers of mental health and overall functioning. Treatment modalities utilize include: family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma focused, and brief solution focused approaches and interventions. Breanna also incorporates mindfulness, meditation, and yoga into practice as she has seen the benefit of combining talk therapy and these interventions as ways of bringing positive change into people’s lives.
She has specialty/expertise working with a combination of emotional and social problems related to conditions that include: major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, PTSD, and complex PTSD. She works with individuals, families, and couples.
Breanna is also a trained TMS technician and can provide ample information on TMS treatment and referral process. Additionally, she assists with our Everest Institute program which is group therapy for substance abuse.
