Diana is a Clinical Social Worker, who holds an independent social work license in the state of Iowa, who has been working in the field for 20 years. She received her Masters of Social Work from the University of Iowa in 1994 and has provided services in the outpatient mental health and residential group home settings. She has specialized in working with children and families experiencing multiple difficulties including sexual abuse, family conflict, trauma, child behavior problems, and divorce and parenting issues.
Diana’s current practice includes working with children to older adulthood, serving a variety of clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, marriage and relationship issues. She assists clients in utilizing community resources and supports for collaboration to achieve improved change and functioning.
Diana is a seasoned therapist with extensive experience and training in play therapy, art therapy, trauma- focused cognitive behavior therapy, family therapy, childhood disorders and mood disorders. She also offers weekend appointments.
