Joe has worked in the mental health field since 2010. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Iowa. Joe earned his B.A. in Communication Arts from Cedarville University and his master’s degree in mental health counseling from Walden University.

Joe has worked at several mental health agencies in central Iowa as well as residential facilities for teens. Areas of clinical experience include depression, anxiety, men’s issues, change of life concerns, relationship problems, families involved in DHS and juvenile courts, and Christian-based counseling.

Joe wants all clients to ultimately find contentment in life. Joe realizes life has its moments of challenges, even times of distress, but believes in the therapeutic process to help clients increase insight into who they are, who they want to become, and how to get there.
