“I see my role as a therapist as walking alongside people; helping to navigate what life has placed before them while being present to hope and plan for the future. I am a generalist. I introduce mindfulness practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Strengths Based techniques to see what resonates with the client.
I enjoy using art, humor, and music as appropriate in sessions and exploring spirituality and creativity as tools to enhance resiliency.
I work with adults and children over 15. I have experience working with clients with chronic mental illness including those diagnosed with Autism, and Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDD). I enjoy helping people identify and use their strengths to become more resilient and grow.”
