Dr. Tyler joined Compass Clinical Associates in 2024 as the Supervising TMS Psychiatrist, where she oversees the application of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for refractory depression and OCD. A medical graduate of A.T. Still University, she completed her residency at MercyOne Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident and receiving the Resident Physician of the Year award in 2019.
Her clinical foundation is built on diverse leadership roles within major hospital systems, including Emergency Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, and Consultation-Liaison services. In addition to her role at Compass, she serves as a Consultation Psychiatrist for Great River Health and as the Supervising Psychiatrist at the House of Mercy, a residential addiction treatment facility for women and their children.
In her outpatient work, Dr. Tyler provides a full-spectrum psychotherapeutic approach dedicated to the specialized needs of women and the LGBTQIA+ community. Her practice honors the vital intersection of narrative, hormones, gender identity, and neuroscience. Deeply informed by psychoneuroendocrinology, she focuses on the biological impact of trauma and hormonal shifts from the perinatal period through menopause.
By addressing the physiological roots of Complex PTSD and its links to autoimmune disease, Dr. Tyler moves beyond standard symptomatic treatment. She views mental healthcare—from TMS to psychotherapy—as a “sacred resonance”: an empowering, ego-free space where healer and patient navigate natural laws toward deep, lasting healing.
